Fundraising is underway for the New Building Fund

Please send all contributions to Pittsfield Historical Society, PO Box 173, Pittsfield, New Hampshire 03263. The Pittsfield Historical Society is a 501(c)3 nonprofit charity and a letter of your donation will be sent for your records. We thank you for your support.

As an incentive, the Pittsfield Historical Society has developed a system of rewards for contributing to the building fund.

  1. Anyone contributing $10.00 may write their name on a shingle to be placed on the roof.
  2. Anyone contributing $100 will be allowed to place three lines of script on a brick, such as “John Jones in memory of Jack Smith,”   which will be placed in a patio or on a wall at the building’s entrance.
  3. Anyone contributing $500+ will have their name placed on a metal plaque attached to a granite block at the building’s entrance.
  4. Anyone contributing $600 to $999 will have a choice of placing their name or a dedicated name on a plaque placed at the entrance to a gallery of their choice, such as “John Jones,” or “In Memory of John Jones.”
  5. Anyone contributing $1000 to $2,499 will have a choice of placing their name or a dedicated name on a plaque placed outside one of the restrooms such as “John Jones,” or “In Memory of John Jones.”
  6. Anyone contributing $2,500 to $9,000 will have a choice of placing their name or a dedicated name on a plaque placed outside either the Meeting Room or Archives Room.
  7. Those giving larger amounts will receive other special recognition to be worked out with the Society.

Unless the donor objects, an article and picture of the donor will be placed in The Suncook Valley Sun, recognizing the contribution. The amount contributed will not be stated.
