The antique fire hose wagon and hose reel that was on display at the 1st Annual Walter Sanborn & John Sawyer Memorial Fire Truck Show received the Walter Sanborn award. The Walter Sanborn award this year was presented to a unique, or unusual piece of equipment. Although there were a few contenders, Pittsfield’s were picked because they were in original condition, and have been in possession of the Town since purchase.
